Graduate Studies

Several CIAS researchers are lecturers in anthropology at the University of Coimbra and are responsible for postgraduate training and supervision of master’s and doctoral dissertations of students enrolled in several degrees. This teaching activity is fundamental for the dissemination of knowledge in the field of anthropology and the training of new researchers. Since its beginning, CIAS researchers have worked at a close interface between their research activity and their work as teachers. On the other hand, CIAS supports postgraduate students both in carrying out their research work and in dissemination of their results in national and international congresses.
