Sofia Santos has a degree in Biology from the University of Coimbra, with a minor in Anthropology. She also has a Master’s degree in Medical Anthropology and Global Health and is currently a PhD student in Biological Anthropology at the University of Coimbra. Her main interests are global health, disease prevention and health promotion, equal access to health care and the promotion of health literacy. Her research focuses on osteoporosis and sarcopenia.
