PhD student in Anthropology at the University of Coimbra, studying the relationship between humans and dogs, with a societal focus on homeless people (PSA) who live with dogs on the streets of Lisbon, an innovative topic in the field of Multispecies Anthropology in Portugal.

I consider myself a dog person (Haraway, 2003), and my line of work is shaped in part by my personal experience and, therefore, I am an “involved” anthropologist. My interest and passion for Environmental Anthropology, specifically in the area of multispecies, arises from this combination.

During my academic career, I completed 3 higher education courses, the last of which was a Master’s in Anthropology from the University of Lisbon, in addition to a degree in Business Administration.

In my professional career, I have always been ethical, adaptable, a good communicator and, above all, I learned to work in a team, which I believe are fundamental skills for my research. Additionally, I volunteered in social projects in Mexico and Brazil.

I believe that my training, experience, adaptability and skills provide me with a solid foundation to achieve the objectives of the proposed project, and thus collaborate not only with science, but also with society as a whole, due to the nature of the topic.
