Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and MSc in Forensic Anthropology, from the University of Coimbra, Portugal. During the master’s program analyzed anatomical variation in the skeleton and spina bifida as a congenital neurological condition that affects the skeletal system.

Currently enrolled in the Phd program in Anthropology, specializing in Biological Anthropology (University of Coimbra), studying traumatic and infectious pathology in an osteological collection recovered from the Convento de São Francisco, in Coimbra. This collection dates to the early 19th century, a period in Portuguese history marked by social and political instability resulting from the French invasions and civil war.
