Graduated in Nutrition from the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (2013). Master in Science from the Graduate Program in Food, Nutrition and Health at the Federal University of São Paulo, Baixada Santista campus, in the line of research: Nutritional Epidemiology, Urban Health, Sociocultural Processes and Public Policies (2016). PhD from the Graduate Program in Nutrition at the Federal University of São Paulo, working in the line of research: development, implementation and evaluation of interventions in the food environment (2020). He has worked as a professor at educational institutions: National Service for Commercial Learning (SENAC), University of Vale do Paraíba and Anhembi Morumbi University – São José dos Campos campus and advisor tutor for specialization courses (lato sensu) at ICEPI. In the third sector, he acted as Health Project Manager in the area of Childhood Obesity at the Desiderata Institute (Rio de Janeiro). In the field of consulting, he led projects in childhood obesity at Catálise Impacto Social. He is currently a guest researcher at the Sustainable Food Systems Research Group (GPSAS) at the Federal University of São Paulo; member of the Alliance for Adequate and Healthy Food; adviser to the State Council for Food and Nutrition Security of Minas Gerais; researcher at the Center for Research in Anthropology and Health at the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and substitute professor at the Federal University of Alfenas.
