Graduated in Biology in her hometown, León (Spain), Master in Physical Anthropology and Human Evolution (Autonomous University, Complutense, and Alcalá, Madrid), and PhD in Biological Anthropology from the University of León (Spain).

Analysed and discussed research results on dental and maxillofacial pathologies under the guidance of thesis co-director, Dra. Sofia N. Wasterlain, for her thesis “Teeth and Mills: Dentomaxillary Health in the North of the Iberian Peninsula (9th–19th centuries)”, updating scientific knowledge and refining methodological approaches.
