Graduated in Biology in her hometown, León (Spain), Master in Physical Anthropology and Human Evolution (Autonomous University, Complutense, and Alcalá, Madrid), and PhD in Biological Anthropology from the University of León (Spain). She has developed scientific production in the area of maxillofacial pathologies, in a broader sense, in the area of Paleopathology. Since 2016, she has been the forensic anthropologist at the Association for the Recovery of Historical Memory (ARMH) and the Sputnik Labrego group (Ponferrada, León, Spain) with whom she is participating in several exhumations of mass graves from the Spanish Civil War and the Franco dictatorship. She currently continues to freelance in Biological and Forensic Anthropology under the name “bioantropologica”. She belongs to several scientific and professional associations.
