Dates of the research stay: June 23rd to July 30th 2025
Professor Zaragoza is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Murcia, working within the framework of the ‘Generational Renewal Programme for the Promotion of Research’ on a project entitled ‘Nature as an ethical horizon: The Ecological Crisis of Modernity and the Experience of Order’. He will be visiting the CIAS Anthropocene Critical Studies Laboratory from 23 June to 30 July 2025. His research focuses on the relationship between well-being and ill-being, and our coexistence with degraded or destroyed ecosystems. He is the author/editor of several books, including The History of Environmental Degradation in Mar Menor (Routledge, 2025) and Mar Menor: Stories for a Patchy Anthropocene, due to be published next year in the Cambridge Elements series.
