Giulia Ginatempo is an Italian archaeologist and postgraduate specialization student in physical anthropology and medieval archaeology. Her research interests include paleopathology, funerary archaeology, and the study of human skeletal remains from archaeological contexts. The main objective of her research stay at CIAS is to compare Italian and Portuguese approaches and methodologies in osteological and paleopathological analysis. The stay also includes the consultation of CIAS reference collections and specialized paleopathology bibliography in order to investigate and better identify pathological cases currently under study at the University of Sassari.
