I graduated in Archaeology at the University of Porto (2005) and Biological Anthropology at the University of Coimbra (master’s degree [2014] and PhD [2018]). I have been doing fieldwork since 2005 and working with other researchers on several projects. The most recent, for instance, the project ARCHGEN: The Archeology and Genetics of the European Jewish Diaspora, involves a multimethodological approach that is being developed with researchers from around the world. I have also developed scientific production following my PhD in the field of nasal and facial fractures, respiratory diseases, and, in a broader sense, in Paleopathology. I am currently also doing fieldwork in Portugal, both in Archaeology and in Biological Anthropology.
