Graduated in Biology from the University of Aveiro and currently a first-year Master’s student in Evolution and Human Biology at the Department of Life Sciences, University of Coimbra. For the completion of the undergraduate degree, he carried out a professional internship where he developed activities in the fields of ecology and species conservation (with a particular focus on primates), camera trapping, taxidermy, biological material preservation, pathogen detection in wildlife, herpetology, among others, through which he acquired most of his professional experience. As a Master’s project, he will study the socioecology of green monkeys on Brava Island (Cape Verde), with the aim of understanding the adaptations they have developed in response to insular life, in comparison to individuals of the same species that inhabit the mainland.
