Luiz Gustavo Alves is a PhD student in Anthropology at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. He holds a master’s degree in History from the Postgraduate Program in History of the Fluminense Federal University (PPGH/UFF), having defended the dissertation “Liberte Nosso Sagrado”: as disputas de uma reparação histórica” (Free Our Sacred: The Disputes of a Historical Reparation). He holds a bachelor’s degree in History from the Fluminense Federal University. During his bachelor’s degree, he was an academic mobility student for one semester in the History course at the University of Minho in Braga, Portugal. He recently received a scholarship at the Laboratory of Anthropology of the Playful and the Sacred (Ludens) linked to the Department of Anthropology of the National Museum/UFRJ.
