Antropologia Portuguesa Journal


Antropologia Portuguesa is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original articles, interviews and reviews in the fields of Biological, Cultural and/or Social Anthropology.

Articles are invited for submission in Portuguese, Spanish, English or French. All types of manuscripts submitted to the journal are primarily judged by the editorial board and will be sent to at least two reviewers with expertise in the topic field if the criteria presented in the Author Guidelines are observed.

Antropologia Portuguesa (ISSN 0870-0990) was created in 1983 and it is exchanged with 181 journals worldwide. The journal is indexed on several international databases, such as WoS (Web of Science), Scopus, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), ERIH (European Reference Index for the Humanities), FRANCIS (International Humanities and Social Sciences), LATINDEX,  HLAS (Handbook of Latin American Studies) e IBSS (International Bibliography of the Social Sciences).
