Elena Lorenzi holds a BA degree in Lettere Moderne from University of Padua and is currently enrolled in the master program in Cultural Anthropology, Ethnology and Ethnolinguistic at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She spent a full academic year at the University of Coimbra, taking several courses from the master degree program in Anthropology, Globalization and Climate Change. She is working on her master thesis on the perception of the environment and the relationship between humans, technology and climate change, focusing on the fishing community in Central Portugal and the traditional fishing technic of Arte-Xàvega.
