Eneolithic Multiple Burials

Professor  Mihai Gligor from the Department of History, Archaeology and Museology of the University of Alba Iulia, Romania (‘1 Decembrie 1918’) was in Coimbra to present a conference on the 03rd of December.

The conference was about the Eneolithic Multiple Burials from Alba Iulia – Lumea Noua (Romania). After 15 years of Researches. The Professor show us cases of multiple burials and related osteological analysis which can reveal crucial evidence into the lifestyle and culture of this population and will also provide important clues about burial customs and the treatment of the dead during the Early Eneolithic period.
