New article on non‐masticatory dental wear patterns

New article published in the International Journal of Osteoarchaeology by Daniel Fidalgo and Ana Maria Silva (co-authored by Eduardo Porfírio) is now available online in HERE.

The article, entitled Non‐masticatory dental wear patterns in individuals exhumed from the Middle Bronze Age rock‐cut tombs of Torre Velha 3 (Serpa, Portugal), examined 21 individuals exhumed from the rock‐cut tombs of Torre Velha 3 (Serpa, Portugal), dating from the 2nd millennium BC and found out dental wear features and oral lesions that can be linked to non‐masticatory activities and/or dietary habits.
