Learning more about stable isotope and mercury analyses in Anthropology

Professor Steven Emslie, from the Department of Biology and Marine Biology, University of North Carolina Wilmington, has been an annual presence in CIAS throughout the last years.

This week, Professor Steve presented a conference – Mercury in Archaeological Human Bone: Biogenic or Diagenetic?  – and a workshop – An Introduction to Stable Isotope and Mercury Analyses in Anthropology – where the students had the opportunity to learn more about stable isotope and mercury analyses.
